In Piepmatz, you play bird cards from your hand to gather seeds and birds from the bird feeder which add up for points at game's end.

You also score points for each mated set (one male and female) of the same value and species.

You score points if you have the most of any one type of bird.

Watch out for the squirrel card... for the squirrel will eat your seeds, deducting from your score at the end of the game.

As any bird enthusiast knows, the crow can also be a challenging foe. In Piepmatz, the crow card scares 2 birds from your set collection!

Pros

*nice artwork *good thematic design *small box, small price (~$15) *pretty short set collecting  game *original and fun

Cons

*rule book made this game seem 'harder' than it was *like most games, it takes up a decent amount of tabletop space
